Welcome to Windy Harbour Farm Hotel, situated in a rural location just outside Glossop, High Peak. With views over the Woodhead and Longdendale we are in an unrivalled position on the edge of the Peak District.
We are a family owned business offering a warm welcome, home cooked food and a well stocked bar often serving speciality cask ales. Our twin and double rooms, all en-suite, are each individually furnished. Choose from bed and breakfast or dinner, bed and breakfast. We serve evening meals and lunches in the restaurant and afternoon teas in restaurant or in the garden during the spring and summer. Our camping and caravan site has electric hook up, toilet and water/waste facilities.
We are licensed for civil wedding ceremonies up to 120 and have three rooms offering a capacity in total of up to 160 people for a variety of private parties and functions.
There are local walks and cycleways accessible from the area, including the Trans Pennine Trail, the Pennine Way and the Londendale trail. Many of the Peak Districts popular tourist attractions are within easy reach. We also offer clay pigeon shooting experiences.
The Accommodation
We have five double rooms (one with king size bed) and one twin room on a B&B or half board basis. Each room has stunning views over the surrounding countryside. All have en-suite facilities, complimentary tea and coffee tray, digital television, clock radio and a hair dryer.

Caravanning and camping
The site has terrific views with walks from your doorstep into the surrounding area. Facilities include electric hook up, elsan disposal point and a newly refurbished toilet and washroom.
Guests also have full use of our bar facilities except when the hotel has a wedding or large function. Breakfast and evening meals available by booking. Rallies by prior arrangement.

Functions
The hotel caters for all kinds of functions - birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, christenings, funerals. With a function room and restaurant the hotel can cater for party sizes upto 160 (buffet) and formally seated parties upto approximately 60 in a choice of the function room or the restaurant. For larger parties the hotel also offer marquee hire, perfect for a summer wedding or celebration.
