Warwickshire is a landlocked county in the West Midlands region of England. Warwickshire is bounded to the northwest by Staffordshire, by Leicestershire to the northeast, Northamptonshire to the east, Worcestershire to the west, Oxfordshire to the south and Gloucestershire to the southwest. The county town is Warwick, although the largest town is Nuneaton in the far north of the county.
Warwickshire is perhaps best known for being the birthplace of William Shakespeare from Stratford-upon-Avon. It is also known for Warwick Castle and Kenilworth Castle.
