Valley View is a detached private house offering pleasant comfortable 4 Star Silver Award accommodation, in the hamlet of Calver, which is situated upon the river Derwent, in the heart of the Peak District National Park. It makes an ideal base for walking, sightseeing, cycling, and rock climbing. It is a pet friendly establishment with plenty of private parking and children over 12 are welcome.
The views from all the rooms are superb looking out towards Eyam, Longstone Moor, Curbar Edge, or Chatsworth depending upon the room. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated with luxury en-suite bathrooms and either twin or double beds with duvets. All rooms are equipped with wall mounted 'Flat Screen' televisions, hospitality trays with tea, coffee and biscuits. There is an iron and ironing board available.
Within the grounds there is a detached stone built cottage with splendid views towards Curbar and Froggatt Edge. This self-contained cottage comprises a double bedded room with wall mounted 'Flat Screen' television, radio alarm and fully tiled en-suite bathroom with bath and shower; plus your own private lounge with wall mounted 'Flat Screen' television and DVD, fridge, hospitality tray, hairdryer and futon. It is particularly suitable for the less mobile guest. There is a parking space for one car next to the cottage and a personal key allows you to come and go as you wish.
Breakfast is served in the dining room in the house, with all produce locally sourced. Vegetarian and special dietary requests are catered for with prior notice; please inform your hosts when booking. There are 3 excellent pubs within a few minutes stroll where evening meals are available.
Valley View Guest House is close to Baslow, Cliff College, Froggatt, Grindleford, Curbar, Stoney Middleton, Hathersage, Hassop, Castleton and Bakewell. It is conveniently placed for Chatsworth House - 3 miles; Haddon Hall - 5 miles and Eyam Hall - 2 miles (in the plague village of Eyam).
Many other attractions are available close by.

Your own parking space for 1 car is next to the cottage.
A personal key allows you to come and go as you wish.

This double bedded room with en-suite bathroom has views towards Chatsworth, Hassop and Longstone Edge. It has plenty of storage, a wall mounted 'Flat Screen' television with teletext, a well stocked hospitality tray with coffee, teas, decaffeinated tea and coffee and biscuits.
