Terrace at Swift Cottage
To the front is a paved patio area with scenic views over the dale, with steps down to the lane through the cottage garden. Access is also available via the footpath which crosses the front of the neighbouring three cottages. Parking is provided off-road in a parking area to the rear of the terrace and also on the surrounding lanes nearby. Secure, off-road parking for motorcycles is available nearby at the owner's property.
Behind the cottage is a paved, elevated patio with a shed for mountain bike storage. Both front and rear patio areas benefit from all day sun and are equipped with a table and umbrella, chairs, bench and sun loungers. Spacious and light, the centrally heated cottage opens into an attractive sitting room, with stone floor, leather corner sofas and cast iron log burning stove. For entertainment there is an LCD TV with FreeSat and DVD recorder, CD player and a selection of board games, playing cards, Ordnance Survey maps and local walking & mountain biking trail books.
The modern kitchen/diner is well equipped with electric oven and gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge/freezer. At the bottom of the original staircase is the recently refurbished, comfortably sized bathroom, with stone tiled floor, powerful shower fed by the combination boiler, washbasin, heated towel rail and lavatory.
At the back of the house is a utility area with washer and tumble dryer. Upstairs are the cottage's three bedrooms, accommodating up to 5 guests:
Bedroom 1 - A very spacious and light room with a double bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe.
Bedroom 2 - A slightly smaller, light room with double bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe Both bedrooms 1 and 2 have stunning views over the dale.
Bedroom 3 - A single bedroom with wardrobe. Cot and high-chair available.
